Donna Cormier, Director - Infant / Toddler Teacher

Donna joined TCM in June 1989. She was the Director of the Chelmsford Discovery Center, a private facility serving 125 Children from infants to kindergartners. Prior to this, she was Director of the Roudenbush Children’s Centers in Westford for six years, Director of an Extended Day Program in West Newton for four years, and Founder/Director/Teacher of a cooperative nursery school in Newton for four years. In addition, from 1983 to 1991, Donna coordinated the preschool screening program for the Westford Public Schools. She holds a B.A. in Child Development and Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts, and has done graduate work at Wheelock College. Donna lives in Westford with her husband and has two grown sons and four grandchildren.

  Linda Fox, Preschool Teacher

Linda has worked with all age groups at TCM since 1988 and is Director qualified through the Dept. of Early Education and Care. Linda has many years of experience in a variety of childcare programs and an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. This year Linda is working fulltime in the preschool program and also welcomes the infants and toddlers who arrive in the AM sessions. Linda lives in Maynard with her husband and has three daughters.  Linda also has a granddaughter and a grandson.

  Janet Craig, Preschool Teacher

Janet joined the TCM preschool in September 1999 and works full-time. Janet has had 30+ years of experience working with young children in a variety of settings such as preschool, kindergarten, and a child development center for special needs children in North Shore area. Janet has been a director and taught early childhood courses in the evening at North Shore Community College for 14 years. Janet has her Master’s Degree from Wheelock College in Child Development and she lives in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Christina Sabella, Preschool Teacher

Chris joined the preschool team in Sept. 2007 as a team teacher. Chris had been connected with TCM since 1994 as a part-time teacher, substitute teacher, and as the mother of Anna and Sara who have both worked at TCM.  Previously, Chris worked for eight years in the Carlisle Public School’s Integrated Preschool. Chris also worked in several area preschools and operated a family day care program when her children were young.  Chris has her Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College.  In addition, she has taken several post graduate courses at Simmons College and Merrimack Education Center in advanced child development and special education and she lives in Bedford with her family.

Kate Larkin, Infant - Toddler Teacher

Kate has worked at TCM with all ages since May 2008. Kate has worked with infants, toddlers and  preschoolers while she has been an education major at Fitchburg State College. Last year Kate did a prepracticum in an integrated preschool at the McKay School in Fitchburg. She is currently working three full days in the preschool and will be fulltime in January after graduation.  Kate lives in Pepperell with her family.

“I have been told that the greatest effect on cognitive development in young children is derived from social interaction. In my experience at TCM, I have observed just that.  TCM is a place where children have an opportunity to develop their skills and it is amazing to actually observe that everyday.”

 

   
Linda Bunyon, Infant - Toddler Teacher

Linda returned to TCM in Sept. 2010 after leaving 16 years ago to raise her family. Linda has a certificate in Early Child Education from Middlesex Community College and is Lead Teacher Qualified for Infant/Toddler and Preschool and Director qualified through the Dept. of Early Education and Care. Her experience before TCM included teaching at Bright Horizons in Waltham, The Children’s Village in Cambridge and in Transas, Sweden. She has also worked at the Roudenbush Children’s Center in Westford as a teacher and as an Assistant Director. For the past few years Linda has worked as a Principal Aid and in the Extended Day Kindergarten for the Westford Public Schools. Linda lives in Westford with her husband and three sons.

"First impressions are lasting ones.   My first impression of TCM was it is a warm, inviting atmosphere for children to develop and grow.   I enjoy watching the children explore the areas of their classrooms as well as the playgrounds, while interacting with each other and the teachers.   I am happy to be part of the TCM family."


   

Jayne Blake, Infant-Toddler Teacher

Jayne started working in the IT room this year.  For the past 12 years, Jayne has worked in Sudbury with older toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners and first graders in both private and public school settings.  Jayne has a B.S. in Elementary Ed. with a minor in Special Education from Boston University.  Jayne has two grown sons and currently lives in Sudbury with her family.

Emma Becker, Infant-Toddler Teacher

Emma is working full time in the Infant-Toddler room in her first year of teaching.  Emma graduated from Keene State College with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and Psychology. Emma has gained experience with infants and toddlers through her studies and classroom placements in college as well as working in child care centers during the summer months.  Currently, Emma lives in Belmont with her family.

“The comfortable, homey, and warm atmosphere at TCM allows for the children to easily display their personalities and to easily make connections with other children and teachers. In addition, children feel supported in taking risks and learning new information. TCM becomes a home away from home.”

   

Ruth Moses, Business Manager

Ruth started her transition to the Business Manager's position in September 2011. She currently works on site every Thursday to perform all of the varied bookeeping, accounting and HR duties that are needed for the school's successful operation. Ruth has her MBA from the University of Colorado and has worked in a variety of businesses, from large corporations to small independently owned companies and non-profits. In addition to working at the school, Ruth currently is an independent accountant for several other organizations. Ruth lives in Pepperell with her husband and has two grown daughters.
